Sydney Sweeney reacts to criticism over her looks
Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie in Euphoria, broke down in tears during an Instagram Live this week.
It's after she found out her name was trending on Twitter because people were criticising her looks.
A video of Sydney's Instagram Live was shared on Pop Crave's Twitter account.
Through tears, she tells her followers, "Apparently, I am trending on Twitter right now for being ugly…"
"I would never actually do this... like ever."
"But I think it's really important for people to see how words actually affect people."
I know everyone says, 'You can't read things,' and, 'You shouldn't read things,' but like, I'm a fu**ing person."
"People need to be nicer on social media because it's really fu**ed up."
Her followers in the comments section showed her plenty of support.
One Instagram user wrote, 'WHAT????'
'You're actually one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen.'

According to E! News, the original viral tweet criticising her looks was removed from the platform.
It was reportedly taken down for violating Twitter's guidelines.
Following her Instagram Live appearance, fans took to the platform to show their support for the actress.
'i want every single person calling sydney sweeney ugly to do a face reveal right now,' wrote one Twitter user.
Another tweeted, 'defending sydney sweeney on the internet isn’t enough, i need a gun'
