Fresh off stage at the GRAMMY's, Ed has barely had a minutes rest.
He sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, and has revealed all about his hiatus. He talked about how he traveled to Iceland where he had an accident and scalded his foot on a volcano. At the time he had a 'feeling of dying' and thought that 'this was it.'
Ed also said that a major part of his hiatus was to get rid of his phone. He did that, and STILL DOESN'T HAVE ONE. Instead, he's invested in an iPad, and communicates solely through email.
We admire you Ed, we don't think we could do the same!
