Cole Sprouse talks Riverdale
He's played Jughead Jones in Riverdale since it premiered in 2017, and Cole Sprouse is ready for the next chapter in his career.
In fact, it appears the entire cast are!
Cole touched on the future of the show in an interview with GQ Magazine.
The outlet note that he tried to enroll in grad school before landing a role in the CW hit.
It turns out his agent pleaded with him to audition for the part, and the rest is history.

'The arts are a whirlpool, man,' he told GQ, 'If you need them, they suck you in.'
Cole admitted that after six seasons, the majority of the cast are ready to, 'wrap it up with a bow,' and move on.
This isn't to say he's ungrateful for the show, it just means he's ready for the next chapter.
He added, 'I'm not a creative force behind [Riverdale]. I actually have no creative control.'
'We show up, receive the scripts often the day of, and we're asked to shoot.'
It turns out he was once asked to direct an episode but declined because he knew his vision would need to meet the network's requirements.
