Liam Payne and Cheryl Tweedy have broken up.
The pair released a joint statement on their separate Twitter accounts which read 'It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.'
We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.

Cheryl and Liam welcomed a son, Bear, last March. The pair have been together for two and a half years.
A source told The Sun that the split was amicable and was a 'mutual loving decision.' The source added 'They get on great and this was a decision they made taking into account what's right for their son.'
According to The Mirror, they split up two weeks ago and Liam no longer lives in the house that they once shared.

Both Liam and Cheryl were hit with split rumours back at the BRIT Awards earlier this year, claims which they both denied.
Soon after, Cheryl took to Twitter and called out those who said their appearance at the awards was a publicity stunt.
Oh stop 😩 no one cares who’s been speculatively arguing or not in their relationships 🤦ðŸ»â™€ï¸ use your platform to put something productive in your columns ðŸ™ðŸ» I opened a centre this week that could help thousands of youth!!!!🙋ðŸ»â™€ï¸ ....

Over the weekend, Cheryl celebrated her 35th birthday with two of her former Girls Aloud pals Nicola and Kimberly. It's claimed that Liam was in the UK but did not attend.
