He wrote, 'My phone exploded today! Thank you for the overwhelming love and congratulations!'

Fans took to the comments section of Britney's announcement congratulating her and reminding her to get a prenup.
One wrote, 'CONGRATS Britney but PRE NUP!!'
It wasn't long after this that Sam wrote on Instagram Stories, 'Thank you everyone who is concerned about The prenup.'

Sam continued, 'Of course we're getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection incase she dumps me one day.'

The couple met for the very first time on set of her Slumber Party music video.
He played the male lead in the video, which came out in 2016.
Just last month, she paid tribute to him on Instagram for sticking by her side through, 'the hardest and the best years of [her] life.'
Engagement rumours have been doing the rounds for a while now, with sources previously telling E! News it's, 'always been on the cards.'
