We've heard her go off about political issues before, but now Cardi B is considering a move into politics and Bernie Sanders is supporting her.
The US Presidential hopeful and senator said the ‘I Like It’ rapper would bring a “great” experience to the political arena after she revealed her ambitions on Twitter.
I think I want to be a politician.I really love government even tho I don’t agree with Goverment

Sanders told TMZ;
“Cardi B is deeply concerned about what’s happening in the country, She knows what it’s like to live in poverty and struggle, and it would be great for her to bring that experience to politics.”
Over the last week Cardi B has gone on a Twitter spree, sharing her political views;
Like I was watching War https://t.co/r4gwhTQkHy matter how many weapons a country have you need people ! How are you trying to go against a country and possibly start a war when this country lacks patriotism? I barely see people claiming they LOVE being American.

Listen , I do believe we have the right to bare arms however I do believe in order to get a gun we should get mental check ups, proper training and a older age limit to own one .If the proper age limit to drinking is 21 because these kids can’t handle their liquor how can they .. https://t.co/mDb28tUKMh
— iamcardib (@iamcardib) January 14, 2020
To join the military you need proper training and follow rules right ?They do evaluation check to get in right ?If you don’t qualify you get kicked out right?so if you don’t get training and don’t follow proper rules and don’t qualify to own a gun you shouldn’t have one . https://t.co/txnACFGaYW

Last August, Cardi teamed up with Bernie Sanders on his Presidential campaign video.
The pair reportedly discussed issues such as student debt, climate change, and minimum wage.
Sanders said of Cardi at the time:
“She is really smart, and she is deeply concerned about what’s happening in this country. She comes from a humble background. She knows what it’s like to live in poverty, to struggle, and she wants to make sure we can improve life for working people, and I’m delighted that she’s a supporter.”
She has since pledged her full support for Sanders’ 2020 campaign.
