In an interview with Esquire, Kutcher recalled how Masterson kept the teens in line during their time on That 70s Show.
He had been in the industry a while and knew how it all worked, so he'd often warn them not to, 'f**k this up.'
'Because if you f**k it up, you f**k it up for everybody,' Ashton remembered him saying.
In a way, Masterson was like a mentor to Kutcher, so understandably he's found it hard watching the trial play out.
When the accusations were made against Masterson, he was starring opposite Kutcher in The Ranch.
The Killers actor told Esquire, 'I wholesale feel for anybody who feels like they were violated in any way.'

He said he can only hope Masterson is, 'found innocent of the charges brought against him.'
As Esquire put it, this is not him, 'wanting his friend to get off the hook,' but rather hoping he's genuinely innocent.
Kutcher added, 'Ultimately, I can’t know.'

He continued, 'I’m not the judge. I’m not the jury. I’m not the DA. I’m not the victim. And I’m not the accused.'
'And so, in that case, I don’t have a space to comment.'
