Thank you Andrew for blessing our ears with 'The Tortured Poets Department."
The Swifties have come for Andrew Scott, saying he was the inspo behind Taylor Swift's new album title.
Last month, Taylor released her highly- anticipated 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The album was a surprise double release, consisting of 31 tracks.
The songs are rumoured to be about her ex of six years Joe Alwyn, her ex- situationship Matty Healy, and her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
There is also one song titled 'thanK you aIMee' apparently about Kim Kardashian (at least she didn't make it obvious).
After the release was announced, fans began to speculate that a WhatsApp group chat consisting of Andrew, Joe and Paul mescal was the reason behind the title.

In 2022 Joe revealed that Andrew had started a group chat called 'The Tortured Man Club.'
Paul Mescal chimed in joking about his pal, saying Andrew is the only one who uses the chat, with Joe adding that he uses it to message himself "good mornings."
Andrew was quick to shut down the claims while chatting to Variety, saying it was a short lived idea, that consisted of just "three texts."
Setting the record straight, he said the name was based on his character, the 'Hot Priest', in TV series 'Flea bag'. If you know, you know.
Scott says the album is "sensational"
He also added that he thinks Taylor's new album is "sensational" and he even sent her a text to sing her praises!
Andrew continued to speak highly of Taylor, describing her as "an extraordinary human."

Taylor and Joe decided to call it quits after six years together in April of 2023.
Following on from the split in September of last year, Taylor went public with her new man, Travis Kelce.
Since then, he's been by her side as she continues 'The Era's Tour.'
