Demi Moore's Inside Out
Actress Demi Moore has released a memoir titled Inside Out.
In the book, she documents her childhood, her family life, her past marriage to Ashton Kutcher and loads more.
Demi's been promoting the tell-all diary in interviews across America ahead of its release.
Here are five shocking revelations she's made:
1. Childhood
The actress opens up about her troubled childhood in the tell-all book.
She reveals her mother struggled with alcohol abuse when Demi was just a little girl.

The writer also recalls the time her mother attempted suicide.
She remembers digging pills out of her parent's mouth when she was just 12.
Demi also discovered that the man who she believed to be her father, wasn't her biological dad.
2. Sexual assault
Demi shares that her mother used to take her to bars in order to gain attention from men.
The actress alleges she was later sexually assaulted by a man her mother new.
According to the LA Times, it's claimed her mother 'whored' her out for $500.

Demi addresses the incident in an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer.
"I don’t think it was a straightforward transaction...but she still did give him the access and put me in harm’s way."
3. Escape
Demi turned to acting in a bid to escape her childhood.
She says she had a, "fake it till you make it," mindset and her confidence stemmed from the idea that she had nothing to lose.

When she was 19, she landed a role in the ABC soap General Hospital.
Sadly, she turned to alcohol and drugs during her time in the 1985 movie St. Elmo’s Fire.
Fortunately, she sought help and went to rehab. She stayed sober for 20 years.

It wasn't long before Demi made a name for herself in Hollywood as one of the highest-paid actresses.
She took a break from the industry when she welcomed three girls with her ex husband Bruce Willis.
"I think that we did a magnificent job of making sure that our children knew they were loved."
4. Ashton Kutcher
Demi married Ashton Kutcher in September 2005.
Their relationship became the subject of many news outlets for their surprising age difference.
She was 40 while he was only 25.

In the book she writes, 'Ashton’s adult life was just beginning I didn’t see all that because I was inside of it.'
'I just felt like a 15-year-old girl hoping somebody liked me.'
She tells Sawyer, "I had money. He loved my children. It wasn’t something he feared."
"He seemed to be comfortable with the enormity of the ex-husband [Willis]."
"I mean, you know, I felt like I was not coming with baggage. I had trunks."
Demi reveals Ashton encouraged threesomes in their relationship.
However, he had been allegedly cheating on her while they were engaging in these acts.
'Because we had brought in a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’s done.'
She also reveals he aided in breaking her 20 years of sobriety.
The model thinks Ashton wanted, 'the girl who could have a glass of wine at dinner, or do a tequila shot at a party.'

5. Miscarriage
Demi reveals she fell pregnant with Ashton's child when she was 42-years-old.
Six months into the pregnancy, she had a miscarriage.

"I really lost sight of everything that was right in front of me, which is the family I had."
"And I think the weight that it put on Ashton..."
"You know, it’s kind of a natural thing to pull back when somebody’s, you know, clinging too tight."
Six years into their marriage, they called it quits.
Demi tells Sawyer, "I really know that there are parts of what occurred with this relationship ending..."
"That were a level of devastation for me that wasn’t really just about that relationship."
"It was really about my whole life."
