HSE Deny Dental Treatment Delays
The HSE say they don't know of medical card patients facing long delays because of a row between the executive and dentists.
The Irish Dental Association says, of its 1400 members, 190 have pulled out of the medical card scheme, which has brought about delays for some patients.
But, the HSE says it reckons that there are enough dentists currently operating within the medical card scheme.
It says that even though some dentists have withdrawn from the scheme, a significant amount of new contracts have also been agreed.
